Book Dr Oz to Speak

Clinical Psychologist | International Speaker & Trainer | Australian Psychologist of the Year (2024)

For rooms that want more than inspiration — and need something that actually shifts how people think, work, and lead.

I speak on the messy, human, real-world stuff that standard models often miss.

That includes trauma, neurodivergence, entrenched patterns, internal conflict, and the kinds of complexity that do not resolve just because someone has the right label, insight, or strategy.

My work brings together clinical psychology, lived experience, and systems thinking. I help people make better sense of behaviour, identity, distress, and potential, not by reducing people to deficits, but by looking more closely at the contexts, adaptations, and stories that shape them.

I’m invited to speak in clinical, leadership, and organisational spaces where people want more than surface-level awareness. They want language, frameworks, and conversations that actually move things.

What People Can Expect

My sessions are clear, practical, and deeply human.

I translate complex psychological ideas into language people can actually understand and use. That might mean giving clinicians better ways to work with stuck presentations, helping leaders understand what changes when systems adapt, rather than people masking harder, or helping organisations move beyond awareness into something more useful.

People usually leave with three things:

• A better framework for understanding what they are seeing,

• Language they can use straight away,

• A different way of thinking about complexity, capacity, and change.

In Their Words

"Dr Oz is a fantastic blend of human and expert. He shares his comprehensive knowledge in an enthusiastic yet easy manner, and his explanations are both thorough and succinct. His casual but professional style is engaging, and the demonstrations were powerful. His compassion and empathy were obvious, as was his passion for the subject matter."

— Lee, Registered Counsellor (NZ)

"I loved Oz's knowledge, wisdom, authenticity and passion. I particularly liked when he was engaging with the audience without the use of slides, and was able to teach in a way that was flexible. I think his style is pedagogical rather than didactic, and he excels at that."

— Karee, Clinical Psychologist (AU)

"Perspective of lived experience woven through the science. Affirmed my understanding in some areas and extended it in others. Good humour, honesty, and authenticity throughout."

— Jane, Psychologist (AU)
