Dispelling the Myth: OCD
What OCD is, what it is not, and how it is treated. A free public webinar presented by Senior Clinical Psychologist Haanusia (Haanu) Prithivi Raj.
OCD is one of the most misunderstood conditions in mental health.
Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) involves unwanted, distressing thoughts, images or urges (obsessions) and the actions people take to relieve that distress (compulsions). It affects adults, teenagers and children, and it is very different from how the word is used in everyday conversation.
On Saturday 31 October 2026, ANIMA Health Network ran a free public webinar to separate the myths from the facts. This is the full recording.
